Defining the New Era of Earth Observation
Terra Monitoring Solutions delivers geospatial analytics that support complex decisions across infrastructure, recovery, risk, and environmental systems. We integrate satellite observations with transparent methods and uncertainty-aware analysis to help public agencies, development institutions, and private stakeholders act with confidence.
Remote Sensing Expertise
Remote sensing technologies to monitor and analyze ground deformation, subsidence, flooding, wildfire impacts, and environmental changes.
Integrated Approach
Integrate Synthetic Aperture Radar (InSAR), optical imagery, and elevation data to provide comprehensive environmental monitoring solutions.
Environmental Impact Assessment
Our data science acceleration empowers stakeholders to understand and address environmental challenges effectively.
Dedicated Software Solutions
Custom-built geospatial and remote sensing software designed for operational monitoring, analysis, and decision support.
Leadership
Dr. Pietro Milillo
Founder & Director, Terra Monitoring Solutions
Remote Sensing Scientist | Former NASA Researcher
Dr. Pietro Milillo is Assistant Professor at the University of Houston and founder of Terra Monitoring Solutions.
A former NASA-JPL researcher and IEEE Senior Member, he works at the intersection of satellite observation, geophysics, and risk assessment, contributing to efforts such as NASA’s Surface Topography and Vegetation (STV) and Surface Deformation and Change (SDC) Decadal Survey studies.
His work focuses on detecting subtle ground and infrastructure deformation from space, insights that have been applied to problems ranging from large-scale cryospheric change to infrastructure vulnerability, helping decision-makers better understand and manage complex environmental risk.
